FIGHTING BACK

Brawl breaks out but Rockets deliver knockout of LeBron, Lakers

Defense. Offense. Right now, the Rockets have a lot to work to do as it looks like they've taken a step back from last season, but they're showing some fight. Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul were involved in a fourth quarter incident where both threw punches (as well as Brandon Ingram) and were ejected, but James Harden carried the Rockets the rest of the way to their first win of the season, a 124-115 win over LeBron James and the Lakers in LA. The fight is going to get major headlines -- Craig Ackerman and Matt Bullard first broke the news that Paul was apparently spit on by Rondo, which prompted Paul to put a hand in Rondo's face. Rondo threw (and connected) a punch and a melee broke out. Ingram threw a punch while the skirmish was happening. There are going to be some suspensions handed out, and if Rondo did spit on Paul, he deserves a very long timeout.
